Confused — or worried — about your credit? Struggling to save? We can help.

Your money should help you reach your goals, not stress you out. Even if you're not sure if the goal of homeownership is right for you—or even if you see homeownership way down the road—everyone should understand how to manage money, build savings, and keep tabs on their credit.

Housing Channel’s FREE Financial Fitness Class is a great first step on the road to a better financial future, offering a no-judgement, no pressure opportunity to build your money management skills. Before you register: A minimum annual household income of $46,380 to participate in Homebuyer Orientation and Homebuyer Workshop classes. If your income is below this level, please visit our resource page to find out more.

Class FAQs

  • Any community member aged 18 or over is welcome to attend a Housing Channel class, regardless of income or where they live.

  • All Housing Channel classes are FREE, but registration is required.

  • We ask that only adults come to the classes. If that doesn’t work for you - consider taking a virtual class.

  • Free onsite parking is available.

  • Please feel free to bring your own snacks and drinks. If the class is an all day class, lunch will be provided.

  • In-person classes are held at Housing Channel, 851 Grainger St, Fort Worth, Texas 76104 unless otherwise stated.

  • Once you fill out the registration form, you will receive an e-mail confirming you are registered. If you do not receive an email, please contact us at 817.924.5091 or email us at counseling@housingchannel.org.

  • Please let us know at counseling@housingchannel.org. Then visit the classes page to sign up for a different class date.

  • Of course! All community members are welcome to participate in our classes, but they must register.
